The development comprises of 450 one bed flats for student accommodation over 5 adjoining blocks.
The blocks were built using a volumetric modular system with one 100mm external skin attached to the pod of brick or block via channel ties.
The build was predominantly brickwork, with ground floor blockwork to 2 blocks rendered with some stone corbelling to separate the render from the brickwork. We also undertook a large amount of brick slip work to panels which we installed on 2 blocks.
All substructure work was undertaken as well as a large amount of blockwork to the basement area.
We supplied all materials including brick slip panel system and all brick specials.
The contract was completed on programme.
